Latest News Miami Maternity Center featured on Discovery Health The Miami Maternity Center, with midwife Shari Daniels in the starring roll, is featured on the Discovery Health Channel in its own reality series entitled "House of Babies." Twenty six episodes began airing on September 25, 2005. You can go to health.discovery.com and type House of Babies in the 'site search' for show times. The shows feature different parents, their pregnancies, and their births. Tune in and watch your favorite midwife on TV! Miami Milk Bank at the Miami Maternity Center The Miami Maternity Center is the home for the Miami Milk Bank. Sponsored by Prolacta, we are now collecting donated breast milk. The milk is processed and used in hospitals around the country for premature babies. We are very happy to be a part of this great program. If you are interested in donating breast milk, please call Maribel at 305-754-2229, Wednesday through Friday. Newly remodeled classroom for Childbirth Education We have recently purchased and remodeled an adjacent building for use for Childbirth Education and more upcoming programs.
